Trackway required for the Trolleybus Museum

The Trolleybus Museum in Belton Road, Sandtoft near Doncaster is the largest Trolleybus Museum in the world.
It is a great day our for families and children are given an old penny on entry, which when they board one of the working Trolley Buses, they give the penny to the conductor who clips their ticket and then they can ride all day on the Trolleybus.
We were delighted when Tony Walsh contacted us on the 9th March 2026 with an enquiry for a canteen unit for their voluntary workers. Their old canteen has become rotten and rat invested.
They needed a new 24’ x 10’ building with a kitchen area complete with a base unit, sink, under sink hot water heater and a work surface before the 4th April as this was their 1940’s Easter Bank Weekend event which receives visitors from around the UK.
We had a new 24’ x 10’ portable building in stock which had many windows to create extra light within the building and an increased esthetical appearance, but after our free site survey we realised that the delivery wagon had to travel 50 meters over a grassed sodden area which would require a temporary Trackway road installing.
Within 24 hours of our site survey, we quoted them for the building, the transport, the extra kitchen area and the Trackway.
Tony agreed very quickly to purchase the building from us, and today the 27th March 2026, well ahead of their 4th April open day, we safely and successfully delivered this new 24’ x 10’ portable building complete with its added kitchen area.
Tony and many of the volunteer workers took 30 minutes out of their schedule to watch and film the building being delivered across the Trackway and then being unloaded and sited using a 70 Ton hi-ab craned vehicle.
It was a delight for us to deal with Tony and his team and to be chosen to supply them with their new portable building.
