New Cabin Space supply a new portable building to Lanes Vets

We were contacted through our website back in July 2025 by Lanes Vets, who are based in Higher Bartle near Preston and needed to extend their office space for the practice.

They required an air conditioned 6m x 3.6m area with a base unit, sink and worktop and a further two smaller offices each with a sliding door. They also required extra double 13-amp power points as well as data adding to the building.

This project was subject to planning permission, and they submitted application and waited.

Unfortunately, there were some objections from neighbours, so the planning department insisted that the rear of the building had no windows, the large double windows on the 3.6m ends had to have obscure glass, the air conditioning condenser units had to be fitted to the front of the building and the buildings external colour had to be in Moorland Green.

We finally received their order for this building on the 11th of February and stuck with our original quotation for the building.

We had the building manufactured and ready to go in March, but as they had not had their four foundation pads installed, we stored the building free of charge until they were ready to receive it.

Today the 17th of April it was safely delivered to them and to the delight of their staff.
