Damage to our client’s new portable building
19/05/2025
Sometimes in life, things do not go according to plan.
We received an order for a new manufactured portable jack leg building some months ago and our client had to delay the delivery as his site works were not ready to receive the building, so we stored it for him free of charge.
The day of the delivery of the portable building came and unfortunately a piece of timber underneath the building was damaged in transport. The client still accepted the building and by 7am the next morning, we had travelled 146 miles and were on site before the client arrived.
We repaired the damage, then also re-adjusted the door and showed the client how to adjust the door in the future if needed.
Problems happen, but it’s how you deal with the problem that counts. We received the following email from our client.
“Hi Michael
The response was outstanding! and I was shocked that the technician was there at site even before I arrived.
He replaced the wooden beam and plastic plugs for the socket and then gave me instructions to adjust the door in case it falls out of alignment in the future.
All in all, a stress-free experience even with the small issue.
I am pleased that the balance has now been paid.
It’s been a pleasure to do business with you, and I wish you and your team all the success that is possible for the future.
Kindest regards
Richie”
