And once again, another installation within a factory building

We are becoming very adept at installing our new portable buildings into tight spaces within a factory building and are undertaking quite a few of them.

We were contacted by Aquabio in Grimsby, a waste treatment plant. They wanted a

Office / changing area within their factory space which was the main area for their waste treatment area.

We visited them to undertake an in-depth free site survey and soon ascertained that the largest building they could fit in was a 32’ x 9’ jack leg cabin. We submitted our prices for the building, the delivery and the installation and they placed an order.

We manufactured their specific building within 4 weeks and supplied them with our Health & Safety documentation which included a method statement, risk assessment and a copy of our insurances.

The building was delivered by a hi-ab craned vehicle and off loaded just outside the roller shutter door entry. We then placed skates underneath the end which was to enter the factory first and a 5-ton forklift truck at the other 9’ end.

It takes a team of three to install a building this way and inch by inch, we carefully manoeuvred the portable building in between a wall and the very large pipes used for the waste treatment.

Two hours later and their new portable building was safely installed to the delight of our customer.
