An upgraded floor for a key storage facility for CINCH

We were contacted by CINCH cars who needed a facility for storing car keys. But not just any facility, they needed to put into a new portable building seventeen specialised key storage cabinets each measuring 1030mm x 180mm. Each key cabinet had to have wi-fi and power and because of the total weight the floor would need to be upgraded.

We calculated that they would need a 40’ x 12’ portable building to accommodate all of the key cabinets, and to also have enough room for an operative to receive keys through one window and give out keys through another window opposite. A sort of one-way system for key management.

After various revisions to our drawings and various quotations they ordered their perfect building.

This building was manufactured on heavy duty steel skids and including a 5kn per m2 upgraded floor using a 25mm moisture resistant floor. We also fitted six jacklegs as apposed to the normal four to help increase the overall strength of the building.

This new manufactured portable building was safely delivered using a 100 ton hi-ab craned vehicle and to the absolute delight of our customer.
