A new 24’ x 10’ delivered to Cambridge with a part exchange

We received an enquiry from CPS Building Services that wanted to procure a new

24’ x 10’ jack leg cabin for their client ADAS Boxworth.

Not only did they want to purchase a new building, but they required their old Portakabin Pacemaker building taking in part exchange. They sent us some external photographs, and we arranged to take this old building away from site free of charge.

They accepted our proposals and we started to manufacture their new building for them. Meanwhile as they need some additional buildings, we attended site in Cambridge to conduct a free site survey and assess their existing Portakabin Pacemaker building.

Unfortunately, when we inspected their part exchange building, we discovered that the roof had collapsed as well as the long rear wall which could not be seen on the photographs that were sent to us, meaning that it was unsafe to remove, and could not be transported back to our premises.

As the new portable building was to be sited in the same place as their old existing building, we agreed to deliver their new building and then lift and re-site the old building to one side, to then allow us to off load and site and level their new manufactured building.

The delivery and relocation of their old building was successful, and our customer was extremely happy.

We do take in part exchange buildings as part of our service.
